Conference Talk at SEMANTiCS 2018 in Vienna

Deep SEARCH 9 is pleased to announce, that at this year’s SEMANTiCS conference, Klaus Kater, managing partner at DS9, will speak about ‘Using Semantic Technology to Solve Sparse Training Material Problem in Machine Learning for Classification of Company Websites’.
Klaus’ talk will be in the session Knowledge Organization on Thursday, September 13th.

Conference Talk and Workshop at CIIPM 2018 in Cambridge

Deep SEARCH 9 hosted its first ever workshop at a conference at CIIPM 2018 in Cambridge.

Attendees of the 3rd Cambridge Information & Intellectual Property Meeting at magnificent Homerton College in Cambridge were invited to join the workshop Build your own competitive intelligence Tracker with DS9. Klaus Kater, managing partner at Deep SEARCH 9 said, he was very excited that – even though the workshop started in the morning before the actual conference – it was fully booked.

In his talk Semantic web technology plus AI equal added value for search Klaus emphasized that a particular AI technology like Deep Learning may not be suitable for classifying scientific information that can only be found sparsely by crawling the web. Instead success may be found by combining multiple technologies in a hybrid solution.
